Who decides which bands play at Paperfest?

Paperfest's music and entertainment committee is responsible for booking acts. This committee takes suggestions, properly vets each act, and ultimately approves recommendations. Booking bands for a music festival is much more complicated than most people realize. Factors that influence which acts appear at Paperfest any given year include trying to provide a wide variety of musical talent to please most tastes, the bands/entertainers availability, their ability to attract a large audience, and the Paperfest entertainment budget. Suggestions are welcome and encouraged; they can be emailed to entertainment@paperfest.com.

What happens to the money made a Paperfest?

This is a great question; Paperfest donates it back to the civic, community, and service organizations that voluneet thier services at the festival. It works like this: Volunteers regsiter to represent the non-profit organization of their choice. Paperfest then pays an hourly rate per each volunteeer back tot he represented not-for-profit organization. They payout to each organization is based on the revenue generated by the festival and the number of volunteer hours worked. The more volunteers working, more hours achieved, and then more money earned!
